Megan Suran Kim is featured as an artist at the upcoming Lightbox Expo, where she will be exhibiting her work at Table 114 on the Artist Alley and Exhibitor Show Floor. The Los Angeles-based creator invites attendees to explore her portfolio through her online studio page and shop.

Kim’s artistic practice spans multiple mediums, including painting, animation, and furniture construction. She draws inspiration from daily commutes and long flights, using these times for daydreaming and sketching. Her process relies on sensory experiences, particularly music, to generate ideas that survive the transition from thought to physical creation.

Formally trained in Entertainment Design at ArtCenter College of Design, Kim cites influences such as JC Leyendecker, Norman Rockwell, and Kim Jung Gi. She emphasizes the importance of curiosity and continuous learning in developing a unique artistic voice distinct from digital mimicry.
