The rock band East Of Eden has unveiled the music video for its single “Ghost Sequence.” This track serves as the opening theme for the television anime adaptation of Kazuma Kamachi’s light novel, A Certain Dark Item. The song was released in two editions on November 4.

East Of Eden formed in 2023, featuring solo violinist Ayasa alongside other female artists under Warner Music Japan. This marks their first collaboration with an anime series. The group expressed honor at contributing to the long-running franchise, describing the track as combining tense sounds with a resolve to protect one’s present moment.

The anime premiered in Japan on October 9, 2026. It is produced by J.C.STAFF and directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai.
