Probably Stolen – Cyberpunk Shopkeeper Sim launched on October 28, achieving immediate commercial success with over 350,000 copies sold and 112,000 concurrent players on its first day. The dystopian sci-fi title now boasts an all-time peak of 164,471 concurrent users and maintains an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam.

The game’s trajectory shifted dramatically after publisher tinyBuild intervened. Originally developed by Questing Goose Studio under the name Deepspace Emporium, the project began as an obscure demo that peaked at only 28 concurrent players in 2025. Despite this low initial engagement, tinyBuild CEO Alex Nichiporchik recognized the strong core concept and gameplay mechanics.

tinyBuild partnered with the developers to execute a significant visual and design overhaul, rebranding the title to Probably Stolen. This transformation turned a niche experiment into a breakout hit, allowing players to manage illegal trade, align with factions, and navigate complex business simulations within a gritty cyberpunk setting.
