Japanese publisher Idea Factory has unveiled ICONOLOGY, the debut title for its new IFChronicle label dedicated to visual novels and text adventures. The crime investigation otome game is scheduled for release on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch Lite, with English language support included at launch.

The narrative follows Haruho Tsubakiya, an art university student recruited by a secret police division known as the Experimental Task Force. Set in a near-future society plagued by complex crimes, the team utilizes a device called the White Cube to extract suspects’ memories as paintings. Players analyze these mental landscapes to uncover clues and interrogate suspects, with choices affecting multiple endings and relationship dynamics.

The project features a scenario written by Makoto Fukami, known for his work on PSYCHO-PASS, while character designs are handled by Teita, recognized for contributions to Fate/Grand Order.
